Girls on the Run is a nationwide after-school program offered to 3rd-5th grade girls, as well as 6th-8th grade girls in select locations. The program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. As we continue to grow and serve more girls, it is important that we keep a percentage of our veteran coaches while adding new volunteer coaches to our council. Without volunteer coaches, this program is unable to be offered. Girls on the Run of Margaret Mary Health and the girls in your communities need your help. Volunteers are needed in all schools in Ripley, Decatur and Franklin Counties. Read More!
